Description:

It is a type of linear actuator that converts the energy from the pressurized hydraulic fluid into mechanical force when the operator applies a brake. A brake cylinder typically consists of a cylindrical barrel, a piston, and a piston rod. The piston is located inside the barrel and is connected to the piston rod, which extends outside the Cylinder.

• Capable of producing high force output due to the high pressure of the brake fluid.
• Provide precise control over the movement of the brake pedal.
Applications:
A Brake Cylinder converts the pressure on the brake pedal to hydraulic pressure by feeding brake fluid into the brake circuit and controlling this according to the mechanical force, mostly used in Cat 424B Backhoe Loader.
