Cat Link Brackets comply with the requirements of ANSI/ASME B30.9.1984 as noted with on the Certificate of Proof Test contained with each piece.
Use Grade 8 Bolts to Attach Link Brackets
Always use grade 8* bolts to attach link brackets to components.*Grade 8 refers to hardness of the bolt. Grade 8 is the hardest, grade 5 is medium hardness and grade 2 is the softest. Bolt grades are distinguishable by markings on the head. Grade 8 has five lines on the head of the bolt, grade 5 has three lines, and grade 2 has none.
