The construction of the hose is made from oil-resistant synthetic rubber inner tube, two plies of
braided wire reinforcement, and a synthetic rubber cover with a special ToughGuard film outer sheath for high abrasion resistance. A woven or braided ply of suitable material may be used over the tube and/or over the wire.
