Description:
Cat Reman long blocks such as part # 20R-9195 are an assembled block, crankshaft, cylinder pack, cylinder head, camshaft, valve train, front and rear housing, accessory drive, and lifting eyes, together with a shipped-loose oil cooler, and water pump. Cat Reman long blocks are disassembled, thoroughly flushed to meet rigid cleanliness standards, and inspected for cracks, erosion, or other damage. Block top decks and cylinder head bottom decks are resurfaced to original specifications. Crankshafts are reground, polished, and checked for lift endplay. All bearings, seals, gaskets and piston rings are replaced with new Cat parts. Long blocks are tested electronically for consistent quality and long life.
