Description: Cotter pin is a double-bodied pin made by bending a length of semicircular wire approximately in half, forming a loop that provides a head. After installation each half of the body can be bent to keep the pin in place. The cotter pins specified are intended for use with clevis pins contained herein and in pinned bolt and nut assemblies or other type of free fitting pinned assemblies in general applications.
