Description:
The Apron lift cylinder rod is a component of the hydraulic system responsible for raising and lowering the apron or bucket attached to the front of the machine. At one end, the rod is connected to the piston inside the hydraulic cylinder. As hydraulic fluid is pumped into the cylinder, the piston pushes the rod outward, extending it and causing the apron or bucket to rise. Conversely, when the hydraulic fluid is released or retracted, the rod is pulled back into the cylinder, lowering the apron or bucket.
