The Relief Check Valve is used to relieve excessive pressure within a system by opening a passageway when the pressure exceeds a predetermined setpoint. The design of the relief valve involves a pilot-operated system that responds to changes in pressure. Once the set pressure is reached, the valve opens, allowing the excess pressure to be vented, released, or redirected to a low-pressure area.
