The Spring Support Collar securely holds a coil spring in place while allowing it to compress and expand as needed. This is achieved by providing a stable mounting point for one end of the spring while allowing the other end to move freely within its intended range of motion. The Spring support collars are usually cylindrical, with a central bore or opening to accommodate the coil spring.

Attributes:
• Maintain proper alignment and stability while ensuring smooth and consistent spring performance
• Provide grip and prevent slippage

Applications:
The Spring Support Collar is used with the idler gear in the cylinder block part of an engine oil pump to provide support and guidance to coil springs and by securely holding the coil spring in place and allowing for controlled movement, spring support collars contribute to the smooth operation.
