A Toggle Switch is designed to control the flow of electrical current by physically toggling between three positions, referred to as "on", "off" and "on". The electrical contacts inside the Toggle Switch are responsible for breaking the circuit connection. When the switch is in the "on" position, the contacts are closed, allowing the current to flow through the switch and the connected circuit. In the "off" position, the contacts are open, interrupting the current flow and turning off the circuit.
