The Torque Converter Impeller is to transfer rotational motion from the engine to the transmission input shaft. It accomplishes this by utilizing the kinetic energy of the transmission fluid. When the engine rotates the Impeller, it creates a flow of fluid from the center toward the periphery, which generates a centrifugal force on the fluid.

• Hardened with Brinell 80 MIN, which determines its resistance to deformation and wear
• Withstands the mechanical stresses and loads encountered during operation
