A Heated Diesel Exhaust Fluid Hose Assembly consists of an inner hose made from materials compatible with DEF, surrounded by heating elements that provide uniform heating along the length of the hose. This is further encased in an outer protective layer, often made of a durable, heat-resistant material.
Attributes:
• Provided with a wiring length of 200mm
• Inner hose is manufactured from polyamide to provide good resistance to chemicals
• Provided with an ambient temperature range of -40°C/120°C or -40°F/248°F
• Withstands maximum DEF temperature of 85°C or 185°F
• Provided with an operating pressure range of 9-12.5 bar
Applications:
A Heated Diesel Exhaust Fluid Hose Assembly conducts DEF from the storage tank to the machine's Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. The electric heating elements ensure that the DEF remains above its freezing point.
