A Shear Jaw Wear Plate serves the purpose of protecting the upper shear jaw from excessive wear and tear caused by the cutting process. This wear plate is made from a durable and resilient material that can withstand the repetitive impact and abrasion encountered during the cutting process. It acts as a barrier between the upper jaw and the material being cut, preventing direct contact and reducing friction.
Attributes:
• Hardened to Rockwell C scale hardness of 50HRC to increase the overall structural strength
• Provided with 3 mounting holes to fit the fastener of size M16
Applications:
A Shear Jaw Wear Plate is used on the side of the upper jaw to absorb and dissipate the wear and impact pressures that the shear jaw encounters and also prevent premature failure or damage to the upper jaw.
