A Ring Groove Dowel Pin serves to connect the hydraulic cylinder rod assembly to the powered stairway assembly. It features a ring-shaped groove around its circumference. Its primary function is to provide additional retention and stability. The Ring Groove is aligned with the corresponding feature, allowing it to engage and lock the Dowel Pin in place.
Attributes:
• Improves overall load-bearing capacity by allowing better load distribution
• Provided with a Rockwell Hardness value of C55, which shows the materials strength and hardness
Applications:
A Ring Groove Dowel Pin is used to provide rotational movement and to maintain accurate positioning of the hydraulic cylinder. It provides a pivot point for the cylinder rod to be connected to the mounting surface in the powered stairway.
