Cat® DEO-ULS SYN 5W-40 is a full synthetic, high-performance diesel engine oil designed to deliver extended oil drain intervals through proprietary additive technology. Its advanced formulation provides strong resistance to thermal degradation and oxidation, helping to prevent wear and oil breakdown. By reducing friction on internal engine components, it contributes to improved fuel economy. The oil also contains an advanced additive package that enhances engine protection, supports the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), and guards against deposits on pistons and ring grooves. When used in conjunction with Caterpillar’s S•O•S℠ Services oil analysis program, it enables longer drain intervals while maintaining excellent engine performance and durability.

Recommended Use
• Strongly recommended for all 2007 and newer on-highway engines equipped with after treatment systems using 15-ppm sulfur fuel.
• May also be used with engines not equipped with aftertreatment systems using ≤ 5000 ppm sulfur fuel without affecting the oil change interval.
