The Planetary Assembly consists of multiple gears, known as planet gears, arranged around a central sun gear. These gears are connected to the swing motor and the swing mechanism. When the swing drive is activated, hydraulic or electric power is transferred to the planetary assemblies, causing them to rotate. As the planet gears engage with the sun gear and the outer ring gear, the torque is transmitted from the motor to the swing mechanism, enabling the rotation of the upper structure.
