A Rockshaft Potentiometer monitors the draft force acting on the implement. This force is the resistance encountered by the implement as it tills, plows, or performs other soil-engaging tasks. It features a durable enclosure that protects internal components from dust, moisture, and impacts. It has sensors, that convert mechanical stress (draft force) into an electrical signal. They are positioned within the rockshaft itself or on linkage points connected to it. It is integrated with an electrical circuit to process the signal from the strain gauges and convert it into a usable voltage output.

Applications:
A Rockshaft Potentiometer translates the force exerted by the implement on the hitch (draft sensing) into an electrical signal.
