A Pressure Control Switch, also known as a pressure switch, is an electrical device that monitors and controls the pressure of a fluid or gas in a system. Pressure control switches incorporate a sensing element, such as a diaphragm, Bourdon tube, or semiconductor, which detects the pressure of the fluid or gas. When the pressure reaches a certain level, the sensing element triggers the switch to change its state.
