REQUIRED For Replacement labeled Engines, Long Blocks, and short blocks sold within the U.S. and U.S. Territories the engine core (i.e. old engine) that is removed MUST be returned to your selling Caterpillar dealer, so that they can return to Caterpillar OR destroy, as required by law. Proof of return or destruction will then be provided to the EPA and or California ARB if required. See PELJ1301 for additional details.
Cat Reman engine 30R-0574 provides an efficient, cost-effective solution to boost uptime. Each unit includes critical upgrades and design improvements using state-of-the-art techniques and advanced remanufacturing processes and quality control to return each engine to like new condition. Cat Reman engines are remanufactured using only Cat parts, many of them new. Each engine is dynamometer tested against original specifications, so you know you’re getting genuine Caterpillar reliability.
