Part such as 438-2258 is used in shaft group drive propel of a power train assembly. Cat shims are designed to provide a tight fit between machined parts by securely holding mechanical parts in place to reduce excessive wear on adjacent parts and hardware. Cat shims provide superior protection, being manufactured from high quality materials with properties that provide a long wear life, and the high performance you demand.

• For use with 1-8 hardware.
• Total Thickness: 4.5mm (0.177 in).
• Outside Diameter: 700mm (27.560 in).
• 24 holes diameter 27.5mm (1.083 in) placed at pitch circle diameter of 650mm (25.600 in).
• Shim pack consists of 4 shims 0.76mm (0.030 in), 3 shims 0.38mm (0.015 in), 4 shims 0.08mm (0.003 in).
• Shims are flat and free from dents and wrinkles.
