Description:
A Water Pump Gasket is a gasket that covers the gap between two or more mating surfaces and is often used to prevent leakage from or into the connected components when under compression. Gaskets are normally made from a flat material, a sheet such as paper, rubber, silicone, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber, fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (otherwise known as PTFE or Teflon) or a plastic polymer (such as polychlorotrifluoroethylene).
Attributes:
• Provided with 6 mounting holes of size 10.3mm
• Manufactured to precise specifications and are built for durability, reliability, and productivity.
• Mounting holes are provided in a pattern with a hole circle diameter of 228.6mm
Applications:
A Water Pump Gasket is used between the Water Pump Housing and Cover to provide a tight and secured seal, also used on applications where anti-vibration, packaging, noise, and sound reduction are required. Mostly used in Cat D379B, D379, D398B, D398, D399 Industrial Engine, G399, G379A, G379, G398 Gas Engine, D379A, D379B, D398A, D398B, D399 Marine Engine.
