Description:
An Elbow used in a Muffler at the Turbine Turbo Housing is used to reduce the noise generated by the exhaust gases as they exit the turbine housing. An Elbow also referred to as an exhaust elbow or muffler bend, is a curved pipe component that is designed for exhaust systems. It is commonly used to facilitate the redirection or change in the direction of exhaust gases as they pass through the muffler.
Attributes:
• Manufactured to be durable and resistant to the high temperatures and pressures generated by the exhaust gases
• Reduces exhaust by redirecting the flow of exhaust gases.
• Helps to smooth out the flow of exhaust gases, reducing turbulence and improving engine performance.
Applications:
An Elbow assembly is used in a muffler at the turbine turbo housing at the Air inlet and exhaust unit to direct the exhaust gases away from the turbine, this is mostly used in Cat 783B, 784B, 784C, 785, 785B, and 785C Truck.
