The Disc serves the function of converting hydraulic pressure into mechanical force, thereby enabling the Steering unit to turn the wheels. When hydraulic fluid is pumped into the Piston chamber, it exerts pressure on the Disc, causing it to rotate. This rotational force is then transmitted to the Steering linkage or rack, resulting in the desired movement of the wheels.
