A Fuel Tank Level Sender is a device designed to measure the quantity of fuel in a tank by utilizing the principle of electrical resistance. It consists of a float mechanism that moves with the changing fuel level, connected to a resistive element. As the fuel level changes, the float mechanism moves, causing a change in the resistance of the sensor. This change in resistance is then converted into an electrical signal, proportional to the fuel level. The signal is sent to a monitoring system or gauge, allowing the operator to accurately gauge the amount of fuel in the tank.
