The Adapter has a 1/8" NPSM (National Pipe Straight Mechanical) male thread on one end and a 1/8" NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) male thread on the other end. The NPSM thread is a straight thread with a 60-degree flank angle and the NPTF thread, on the other hand, is a tapered thread with a 60-degree flank angle.
