A Pin Retainer Plate is a flat plate used to prevent the pin from coming out or getting lost during the operation, ensuring that it remains securely in its intended position in the Equalizer Bar Assembly. The Plate is installed with the pin assembly, where it is subjected to vibrations, shocks, or other forces that could cause it to come loose or fall out. It is designed with cutouts and holes to fit the pin and lock in its position.
