Cat Reman camshaft kits such as part # 0R-3025 include the camshaft and Cat Reman valve lifters because reusing lifters or using incompatible lifters can shorten camshaft life or lead to lifter and camshaft failure. These kits were developed to simplify the ordering process: one part number for all the listed parts, and everything ships in one box. Each camshaft is made of high-grade steel, and precision balanced for long life. Heat treatment uses a patented process for high strength and outstanding wear characteristics. Precise journal grinding provides exact bearing fit for reduced friction and long life.
