A Track Chain is constructed using a series of interconnected links that form a continuous loop. It consists of two main types of links Track links and master links. The Track links are responsible for bearing the weight of the machine. The master links are connecting links used to join the Track Chain together and provide a point of attachment to the machine's drive unit.
Attributes:
• Provide excellent traction on slippery terrain
• Enhances the stability of the machine by distributing the weight evenly across the Tracks
Applications:
A Track Chain is used to transfer power from the machine's engine to Track shoes enabling the machine to move on uneven terrains.
