Description:
The oil level gauge tube, also known as a dipstick tube is located near the oil pan. It is often secured to the engine block with fasteners. It is designed to accommodate a dipstick, which is a long, thin metal rod with markings that indicate the oil level in the engine. To check the oil level, the dipstick is inserted into the tube and then removed. The oil on the dipstick will then be examined to determine the oil level in the engine.
