The Diesel Exhaust Fluid Tank is designed to store and supply exhaust fluid, a solution of urea and deionized water, to the selective catalytic reduction system. As the equipment operates, exhaust fluid is injected into the exhaust stream, where it reacts with nitrogen oxides in the catalytic converter to convert them into harmless nitrogen and water vapor, reducing harmful emissions.
