Description:
Cat Reman short blocks such as 20R-2861 include a cylinder block, crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods. Cat Reman short blocks are disassembled, thoroughly flushed to meet rigid cleanliness standards, and inspected for cracks, erosion, or other damage. Block top decks and cylinder head bottom decks are resurfaced to original specifications. Fully assembled and ready to be built into your engine, short blocks are facility remanufactured using genuine Cat parts and include all critical engineering updates. Because all internal components are installed and adjusted at the facility, Cat Reman short blocks get you back to work quickly.
