Description:
The flywheel adapter is connected directly to the engine flywheel and provides an interface for the driveshaft coming from a dynamometer-mounted torsionally resilient adapter and is pre-formed and machined to mate with a hub.

Attributes:
• Lowers driveline vibration
• High coefficient of damping reduces vibration and torsional oscillation

Applications:
The flywheel adapter is specially designed to protect both engine and driven equipment from higher inertia loads and vibration dampening at higher speed ranges. It is extensively used in Cat HIN2021D Wheel Loaders.
