Cat® Screed Plate Right Hand Left Extended Rear Cover is a protective barrier that shields the rear portion of the screed plate preventing material buildup

Brand: Cat

Description for part number 640-1553

The Screed Plate Right Hand Left Extended Rear Cover is designed to shield and support the rear left extended section of the screed plate, which is responsible for spreading and leveling asphalt during the paving process, is vulnerable at its rear portion to material buildup, debris, and potential damage from external elements thus acting as a protective barrier, the Screed Plate Rear Cover prevents the accumulation of asphalt, rocks, and debris at the back of the screed plate. This accumulation disrupts the smooth flow and distribution of the asphalt mix, leading to uneven paving and potential damage.

• Resistant to corrosion for longevity.

Applications:
The Screed Plate Right Hand Left Extended Rear Cover is located at the back of the screed plate which is securely attached to the structure protecting the rear left extended section of the screed plate.
