Description
An Exhaust Manifold is responsible for channeling and directing exhaust gases away from the engine cylinders and into the exhaust system mounted on the engine cylinder head rear left-hand side. As the engine burns fuel in its cylinders, it produces a mixture of exhaust gases that need to be expelled from the engine. The exhaust manifold collects these gases and combines them into a single stream, reducing backpressure within the cylinders and improving engine efficiency.
Attributes: • Helps manage the high temperatures generated during combustion, preventing damage to surrounding components • Designed for optimal exhaust gas flow and maintaining a well-functioning internal combustion engine
Applications: An Exhaust Manifold collects exhaust gases from each cylinder of the engine and funnels them towards the exhaust pipe and helps in reducing backpressure, the manifold helps the engine operate more efficiently, enhancing power output and fuel economy.
