A Dump Body Guide Plate Shim serves to create space between two objects in a dump body assembly. It is a thin, flat shim positioned between the guide plate and the dump body. Its main purpose is to adjust the vertical clearance between these components. It prevents metal-to-metal contact or interference and provides structural stability to the guide plate. It is a sturdy shim that withstands the vibrations and forces that are encountered in the assembly.
Attributes: • Prevents excessive movement of the connection • Provided with 3 mounting holes to fit the fastener of size M20 • Distributes the loads and reduces stress concentrations to increase the overall structural strength
