Cat Reman reman accumulators such as part # 20R8279 used in mining and construction equipment store and release pressure as needed to stabilize machine-specific hydraulic systems, allowing the use of less powerful pumps. Examples include brake accumulators which enable stopping even when the engine is not running, oil-with-nitrogen accumulators which absorb and dampen road shocks, or blade accumulators which help maintain machine control and minimize blade damage when a blade strikes a fixed object. Remanufactured cores are completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and inspected for reusability. Then our state-of-the-art salvage techniques, advanced manufacturing systems and quality control return viable components to the latest Caterpillar performance standards. Each unit includes all critical engineering updates, and is rigorously tested against original specifications, so you know you’re getting genuine Caterpillar reliability.
