Description
A Lip-Type Seal consists of a metal ring as the inner skeleton which provides structural stability to the oil Seal. It is designed to provide a tight seal against the drum shaft and bearing. The spring on the lip of the oil seal provides support to the lip and prevents the lubricant from leaking outside and also prevents contaminants from entering.
Attributes: Has high tensile strength and abrasion resistance. Manufactured to precise specifications and are built for durability, reliability, and productivity.
Applications: A Lip-Type Seal is used to prevent the ingress of contaminants from the interface between the bearing and shaft, mostly used in Cat® 112, 112E, 112F, 12, 120, 120, 120B, 120B, 12E, 12F, 140, 140B, 14B, 14D and 14E Motor Grader, D7, D7C, D7D and D7E Track Type Tractor.
