Description: An oil level gauge dipstick is a long, thin metal rod with markings on one end used to measure the amount of oil in a car's engine. The dipstick is inserted into a designated hole in the engine block and then removed to determine the level of oil in the engine. The markings on the dipstick indicate the minimum and maximum levels of oil that should be present in the engine.
Attributes: • Designed to reach down into the engine's oil reservoir. • Grip on the top end to make it easier to remove and insert into the engine. • Flexible to allow for easier insertion into hard-to-reach oil reservoirs.
Applications: An oil level gauge dipstick is used to maintain proper oil levels during oil changes. It is extensively used in Cat 3406E and C15 Engine (Piston), 651B, 651E, 657, 657E, and 657G Wheel Tractor Scrapers, 735, 735B, 735C, 740, and 740B Articulated Truck, 735, 740, AD45, and AD45B Truck, C13, C15, and C18 Engine-General Platform, TH35 and TH38 Powertrain.
