Description
An Exhaust Combustion Head is used in conjunction with diesel particulate filter (DPF) lines to assist in the regeneration process, which helps remove accumulated soot and particulate matter from the filter. It consists of parts such as an adapter, gasket, seal-O-ring, connectors, and other supporting components, along with an assembly with dedicated inlet and outlet ports that are connected to the diesel particulate filter lines, allowing exhaust gases to flow through.
Attributes: • Withstands high temperature and pressure within the combustion chamber, ensuring optimal conditions for regeneration • Prevents the excessive clogging inside the particulate filter lines during the oxidation of the accumulated soot and particulate matter
Applications: An Exhaust Combustion Head is used in the regeneration process of the diesel particulate filter, helping to remove soot and particulate matter from the filter and maintain optimal engine performance.
