Description:
Electric motors such as part # 580-5407 use the machine's electrical system to drive other mechanical components. The window wiper motor drives the wiper blades for clearing debris from cab windows while the machine is under operation. Cat wiper motor assemblies consist of the wiper motor with the linkages or gears that convert the rotational motion to linear motion at the drive nut, to actuate the wiper arm. Because wipers are a safety feature, they should be periodically checked and serviced to get the performance you expect for your equipment.
