A Track Chain is constructed using a series of interconnected links that form a continuous loop. It consists of two main types of links Track links and master links. The Track links are responsible for bearing the weight of the machine. The master links are connecting links used to join the Track Chain together and provide a point of attachment to the machine's drive unit.

• Minimizes damage to the delicate surface and improves traction during movement
• Increased contact area of the Track Chains with the ground subsequently improves digging power

Applications:
A Track Chain is used to transfer power from the machine's engine to Track shoes enabling the machine to move on uneven terrains.
