Description:
An Exhaust Valve is part of an internal combustion engine's valve train. Its primary function is to control the flow of exhaust gases from the combustion chamber to the exhaust system. The exhaust valve is typically located in the cylinder head and is operated by a camshaft, which opens and closes the valve at the appropriate times during the engine's cycle.

Attributes:
• Withstands high temperatures and pressures, as it is exposed to the hot exhaust gases that are produced during combustion
• Prevents exhaust gases from leaking back into the combustion chamber by having a leak rate of 0.5 cc/min
