Rugged Radios

All too often Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) car radios just aren’t durable enough to withstand the extreme vibrations and temperatures where you work and play. You’ll be glad to know you can find a rugged Cat® Radio that is designed as tough as you are.

Extreme Vibration and Extreme Temperature Radios:

Exceed shock and vibration standard SAE J1455
Withstand temperatures from -40° to 185° F (-40° to 85° C)

We carry four models from which to choose, from a basic AM/FM receiver to a premium radio that includes XM Satellite, Bluetooth, MP3 player, USB ports, auxiliary ports, and more. These new models feature a larger knob and a large twelve character digital display for improved visibility, allowing for quick and easy operation.

Replacement Radios

As with any other part or component you should consider the durability of a radio for your vehicle.
