Cat Reman lock up valves such as part # 10R5501 is an integral part of the transmission that transfers power from the engine to the transmission, allowing for a smooth transition between gears. The lockup clutch improves fuel efficiency and performance by eliminating slip within the torque converter, while the sync valve ensures proper hydraulic control during lockup engagement and release.
