Description for part number 116-8534

A Universal Joint is used to allow the transfer of rotational power from the transmission to the differential and compensate for angular misalignment between the driving and driven shafts. This allows the drive shaft to flex and accommodate changes in angle, ensuring smooth power transmission even when the shafts are not perfectly aligned, and helps to dampen vibrations and shocks in the drive shaft.

Attributes:
• Precise specifications and built for durability and reliability
• Hardened with Rockwell Hardness Scale value in the range of 3.7 - 4 indicating its resistance against deformation

Applications:
A Universal Joint is used to transmit rotational motion from the engine to the wheels, allowing for power transmission and accommodating the misalignment between the transmission and the differential.
