Cat Reman transmissions such as part # 20R-6897 are fully assembled and ready to install. Transmissions receive power from an engine and deliver it to a machine or tool to do work. When it’s time to repair or replace, Cat Reman transmissions can you get back to work fast and save you money at the same time. Returned cores are completely disassembled, and all parts thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All seals, cups, and bearings are replaced. Each unit must pass the same performance tests as a new transmission, including valve pressure settings, lube flow, lube pressure, and a run-through of all forward and reverse gears at low idle and high idle.
