Description: Cat heavy duty temperature sensors use thermocouples for sensing temperature. The sensor electronic module is aluminum with a pigtail connector. The sensor harness is protected by glass fiber sheathing and stainless steel braiding. Heavy duty temperature sensors are available as passive sensors or active sensors with PWM output.
Attributes: • Designed for use in harsh environments • Available in various thread sizes, connector types and harness lengths
Applications: • Heavy duty temperature sensors are primarily used on engine exhaust ports and on the turbo inlet and outlet. • Cat temperature sensors are application specific sensors. Consult your owner’s manual or contact your local Cat Dealer for more information.
