Description: Cat® Hump Hoses are designed to maximize your equipment uptime. These hoses are used to convey liquids or gases and are precisely engineered for each unique application. Each Cat hose utilizes superior bulk materials and processes, fabricated specifically to withstand the application’s pressure and flow requirements which will ensure long life and proper machine functionality. Engineered with a specific application in mind, every Cat hose is manufactured and cut to precise lengths to ensure proper service and routing to existing systems on your Cat Machine. This hose must be able to withstand maximum working pressure and temperature of 200 kpa and 100°C. Also, withstand minimum 650 kpa burst pressure.
Application: Cat® Hoses are typically used in air lines group. Consult your owner’s manual or contact your local Cat Dealer for more information.
Improper selections of hose and coupling combinations will void warranties and may result in serious personal injury or death, property damage, or component and machine system failure. Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to achieve a reliable connection, thus maximizing hydraulic system safety and dependability. It is also recommended that appropriate and properly maintained Caterpillar tooling is used to ensure hoses are crimped to specifications. Use of Caterpillar hose with other manufacturer’s couplings or the use of Caterpillar couplings with other manufacturer’s hose may result in the production of unreliable, unsafe or under-performing hose assemblies. It is not recommended or authorized by Caterpillar. For additional information see SAE J1273 section 6.3 and ISO 17165-2 section 6.3.
