The Adapter Elbow is a specialized pipe-fitting component designed to change the direction of a pipeline or conduit by 90 degrees while allowing for rotational movement or swiveling at the joint. It ensures the adapter elbow's secure and leak-free connection to the lubrication system. It is a versatile and indispensable component in fluid systems, enabling smooth directional changes, efficient flow, and reliable connections.
Attributes: • Straight adapter connects at 90-degree • Minimizes flow resistance and pressure drop • Equipped with sealing features to prevent leakage at the connection points • To withstand a wide range of temperatures, ensuring stability and functionality in both high and low-temperature
Applications: This Adapter Elbow is used in an automatic lubrication system to facilitate lubricant flow at a right angle, ensuring effective lubrication of Truck moving parts.
Improper selections of hose and coupling combinations will void warranties and may result in serious personal injury or death, property damage, or component and machine system failure. Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to achieve a reliable connection, thus maximizing hydraulic system safety and dependability. It is also recommended that appropriate and properly maintained Caterpillar tooling is used to ensure hoses are crimped to specifications. Use of Caterpillar hose with other manufacturer’s couplings or the use of Caterpillar couplings with other manufacturer’s hose may result in the production of unreliable, unsafe or under-performing hose assemblies. It is not recommended or authorized by Caterpillar. For additional information see SAE J1273 section 6.3 and ISO 17165-2 section 6.3.
