Description: A Gear Pump is a type of positive displacement pump that uses rotating gears to transfer fluids from one location to another. It consists of two meshing gears housed within a pump casing. A gear pump typically consists of two gears, an outer gear (driven gear) and an inner gear (drive gear) that mesh together within a pump casing or housing. The gears are mounted on parallel shafts with tight tolerances.
Attributes: ? Operates quietly and generates minimal vibration compared to other pump types ? Creates the necessary suction to draw fluid into the pump without the need for external priming
