Cat® Hydraulic Quick Coupler Mechanical Lock is used to connect quick coupler. It is a mechanical coupling used to connect different types of attachment. Mechanical lock systems attach to the standard pivot pins on the bucket, which allows a wide range of buckets to be attached to the coupler. The lock is specifically designed to operate as a system to deliver the performance you expect. Caterpillar design engineers match the right combination of dimensions, materials, heat treatment, surface treatments and finish to each part to enable them to work and wear effectively with all the other neighboring and dependent parts. Cat locking Pins are machined from high grade steel bar and hardened for exceptional strength and wear life. They work as part of the pin joint system for your specific Cat machine and are tested and proven in the world's most severe applications.
